Marlins President David Samson is Reportedly Going to Be on "Survivor"

Outwit. Outplay. Outlast.
While certainly not the slogan of the Marlins, those words will soon be guiding Marlins president David Samson in an off-the-field endeavor. According to Local 10 Miami, Samson, 45, will be one of 18 contestants to compete during the next season of Survivor. Named Survivor: Cagayan — Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty, itwill take place in the Philippines, with the rest of the contestants to be named soon.
In the past Samson has both competed in an Ironman competition and run a 52-mile double marathon for charity. Why he didn't also log time on the actual Marlins roster last season is unclear.
