Oliver Wahlstrom, a 13-year-old seventh grader, has committed to play hockey at the University of Maine when he's old enough in 2019. While that sounds absurd on face, Wahlstrom plays at a high school varsity level already, and he's only the youngest NCAA hockey commit by a year.

You probably don't recognize the name Oliver Wahlstrom, but there's a decent chance you saw his work as a 9-year-old at the Boston Bruins mini one-on-one camp, in which he scored a lacrosse-style shootout goal (above) that went viral. I always wonder what happens to these child prodigies, and it appears, so far, Wahlstrom's path is more Tiger Woods than Danny Almonte.
