Handball is not a terribly popular sport here in America, but we might want to give it another look after seeing this insane goal by Denmark's Mikkel Hansen.

Hansen puts so much spin on to the ball that he scores despite throwing it away from the goal in the Danes 33-29 win over Austria in the European Handball Championships, which is probably a very important tournament.

Are these types of goals commonplace in team handball?

If they are, I'll have to tune in to Thursday's Denmark-Czech Republic game. I might even buy a Mikkel Hansen jersey. (Where can I buy a Mikkel Hansen jersey?) [BI:Sports]
