Watch This Unbelievable Water Polo Buzzer Beater Scored from Across the Pool

College football season is over, baseball is in its off-season, the NBA and NHL are trudging away through the middle of their regular seasons and the NFL is currently knee-deep in media day nonsense, so without further ado, here is a fantastic water polo goal.

And I can confidently say that it is the best international water polo goal I've seen in 2014.

The above video shows Red Star water polo goalkeeper Denis Sefik rifling a ball across the pool in the dying seconds of tie game against Radnicki Kragujevac. I'll admit that I had no idea what happened until I saw the replay, which provides a pretty stunning view of either Michael Jordan's championship-clinching jump shot against the Jazz or 1986 Bill Buckner's calamity against the Mets, depending on which water polo team you happen to support.

The expression on the face of Radnicki Kragujevac's goalie pretty much says it all:
