Ben Bernanke, the Outgoing Federal Reserve Chairman, Got a Custom Baseball Card

The eight-year tenure of Ben Bernanke, the Chairman of the U.S. Federal Reserve, came to an end on Friday, and it is as yet unclear what his legacy will be. Some people liked him. Other people did not. But however his term is ultimately judged, he will always be able to look back and say, "At least I came away from it all with my own baseball card."

Branded with "BOG"—for "Board of Governors"—the card was presented to Bernanke, a huge Nationals fan, on Thursday at a staff going-away party. It's a nice gesture, notwithstanding the subtext of the Nationals' questionable decisions, collapse, and underperformance.
