Big Man. Tiny Bed.

There has been no shortage of stories about the conditions in Sochi and the strange and creepy things found in Olympic Village. My favorite item, however, may be the fact that Zdeno Chara will be forced to sleep in this tiny twin bed. As you can see from the photo above, Chara is really tall (6-foot-9, to be exact) and probably outgrew a twin bed around age 11.

In Bob Costas News

The veteran broadcaster kicked off NBC's coverage of the Olympics wearing glasses and delivering this message: "I woke up this morning with my left eye swollen shut and just about as red as the old Soviet flag. According to the NBC doctors here, it’s some kind of minor infection which should resolve itself by the weekend." This, predictably, led to a lot of jokes on Twitter. Costas later appeared on Jay Leno's final Tonight Show episode and swigged from a bottle of Jack Daniels.

NFL Logos as Heavy Metal Bands

Not sure if redesigning NFL Logos has jumped the shark just yet but in the past month we've seen them as corporate logos, Star Wars logos, European football badges, Disney characters and hipster logos. And another one hit the web today - NFL logos as heavy metal bands.

Why Would You Do This?

Not sure why the punter of the Minnesota Gophers football squad would troll Adrian Peterson on Twitter. Has he not seen this photo of shirtless Adrian Peterson?
