'Sesame Street' Meets 'Street Fighter' in 'Sesame Street Fighter'

Inspired by a poster in which an artist cast Sesame Street characters as Street Fighter brawlers, game maker Cocoalasca has created an HTML5 game that pits pugilistic versions of cuddly PBS favorites against one another in slugfests.
Cocoalasca even stayed true to Sesame Street's educationalspirit: the fighters do not operate according to traditional keystrokes but will only throw haymakers if players correctly spell words. Have your pick of Cookie Monster as E. Honda, Grover as Dhalsim, Bert as Ryu and others.
Young children will be sure to love it as an alternative to regular spelling exercises, as long as their parents are cool with a little bloodshed and head trauma.
