Video has finally surfaced of retired NBA superstar Tracy McGrady pitching, and he looks pretty sharp.

Houston Chronicle reporter Jose de Jesus Ortiz was on hand for the public throwing session earlier this week, and said the former scoring champ looked good, despite having some trouble with his accuracy.

McGrady's arsenal contains a fastball which currently sits around 85 MPH, as well as a change up, slider and a splitter.

McGrady seems pretty serious about making it onto the roster of the Independent League's Sugar Land Skeeters, saying that he has wanted to pitch professionally his whole life.

“This would be huge,” McGrady said of the opportunity to play baseball professionally. “This would be so gratifying. Even if I just go out there and pitch one inning for a whole season, I mean, it’s a dream that’s come true for me.
