GIF: Father of the Year Nominee Lets Kid Roll Away While Trying to Grab Baseball

No-baby-no_medium

The keen eyes at SB Nation captured the GIF above of a man neglecting all of his life's other responsibilities so that he could lay claim to a home run ball hit during a Marlins-Mets spring training game. Let me repeat, he let his kid roll into a fence so that he could catch a ball during a spring training game between the Marlins and the Mets.

Take a bow sir, your negligence has been forever immortalized.

Sadly this man is hardly alone. Here are nine other examples of baseball fans going mad over flying objects.
