Vince Carter Brings Stadium to Its Feet with Spectacular Rebound

Growing up in Toronto, spectacular Vince Carter dunks were more or less the first thing that got me interested in basketball.

I'll give my fellow Raptors fans a second here to have a nostalgic sigh.

Anyhow, since then, Carter's career (he's 37 now, which should make you feel fairly ancient) has had its fair share of twists and turns, but now it seems he's found himself in a great situation as a sixth man for the Dallas Mavericks.

In the past Carter had admitted to not giving a full effort during games, but if the play above is any indication it seems those days are entirely behind him. It's rare that a rebound prompts a standing ovation from a crowd, but this effort against the Pacers was deserving of one. Dallas would go on to win the game, and now holds the 7-seed in the Western Conference.
