The most adorable story from spring training just keeps getting better with breaking news out of Brewers camp that Hank "The Ballpark Pup," first discovered roaming around Milwaukee's facility in mid-February, has made the Brewers roster.

According to Brewers blog John & Cait...Plus Nine, Hank will join Brewers executives on a charter flight to Milwaukee on Sunday, where he will go home to his adopted family.

In the video below, watch Brewers GM Doug Melvin break the news to Hank, who responded by panting and perking up his ears in apparent interest. Melvin does shoot it straight with Hank, acknowledging his limited speed and lack of a traditional position. But those shortcomings are heavily outweighed by his energy and clubhouse presence. Melvin currently has Hank slotted at the "Rover" position.

Hank will have some non-baseball responsibilities in Milwaukee, too. Here's Brewers President of Baseball Operations discussing Hank's role.
