Lil' Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj and Mike Evans?

In a way, yes.

The former Texas A&M wide receiver became the first high-profile athlete to sign with Cash Money Sports, a new venture from the famed Cash Money Records.

Home to some of the biggest names in hip-hop, Cash Money is seemingly following in the footsteps of other record labels who've expanded into the sports field -- a list which includes Master P's No Limit Sports (now defunct) and Jay Z's Roc Nation Sports.

Evans had already signed with Priority Sports, but the two sides will be working together to benefit the wide receiver as he moves into his NFL career.
