San Jose Sharks Sign 18-year-old Fan with Heart Condition to One-Day Contract
18-year-old Sam Tageson has struggled with a congenital heart defect his whole life, and he has been a fan of the San Jose Sharks almost as long, so the team and the Make-A-Wish foundation joined together to give Tageson a day he will never forget.
The teen got to hang out with the team in the locker room, got his own jersey, and became the first non-player to skate through the team's shark's mouth entrance.
