Watch: Hockey fight spills into locker room tunnel during AHL game

Conjuring up visions of the Los Angeles Lakers - Sacramento Kings fight from the 2002 NBA preseason, we present to you a skirmish between the Rockford Ice Hogs and the Chicago Wolves.

The two AHL teams took the ice on Friday night, and it wasn't the 6-0 Chicago victory that made the news but rather the fight that spilled off the ice and into the locker room tunnel.

Trailing by five goals in the second period, Rockford defenseman Bobby Shea couldn't contain his frustration and instigated a fight with the Wolves' Ty Rattie, this after delivering a nasty elbow which resulted in a game misconduct.

One may have thought the incident would've come to a conclusion there, but that was just the tip of the iceberg.

As the two players left the ice and walked towards their respective locker rooms (only separated by mere feet), Shea went after Rattie again, crawling on the concrete flooring as the two began throwing punches before police officers and security broke the two apart.
