I guess nobody told Jason Fuchs, an 18-year-old  Swiss forward who plays for Rouyn-Noranda Huskies of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey league, that hockey can be a dangerous sport for your pinky.

In the third period of a playoff game Saturday against the Quebec Remparts, Fuchs blocked a slapshot with his hand. He skated quickly to bench, where a trainer wrapped a towel around his finger after noticing it lost its tip. Fuchs needed 45 minutes of stitches to close the wound.

The injury can't be seen in the video, but the image of the equipment managers trying to fish the severed fingertip out of his glove is gross enough.
