Minor League Hockey Player Thrown Out of Game for Biting Opponent
It's not quite Happy Gilmore taking off his skate and attempting to stab a guy, but it's also not too far off.
During a CHL game between the St. Charles Chill and the Missouri Mavericks, John Snowden of The Chill could clearly be seen biting the forearm of Missouri's Matt Stephenson during a tussle between the two players. Snowden would receive a match penalty, which spared him from having to watch the conclusion of the 8-0 shellacking his team would endure at the hands of the Mavericks.
