Pirates Fan Jumps on the Field to Run with the Pierogies, Almost Gets Away with It
A shirtless Pittsburgh Pirates fan was unable to contain his love of eastern European dumplings Wednesday night and jumped on the field for PNC Park's Great Pierogi Race.
While evading security, the man makes an impressive leap over a fence in right field, despite a pretty vicious shove from a stadium worker. He then stumbles on the other side and is wrestled to the ground by guards who are as out of breath as they are mad.
The Pirates' 16-inning victory over the Chicago Cubs ended up going on for just under 6 hours, so if you are going to leave the ballpark early, you might as well do it in style.
