Watch: This Is What Happens When a Hockey Puck Is Put Under 80,000 Pounds of Pressure

Hockey players are tough. They get checked into boards, punched in the face, and dressed in locker rooms that smell like the inside of a tauntaun. In fact, the only thing tougher than a hockey player might be the puck they play with.

If you don't believe me, then check out this YouTube video where Dr. Jeff Evans tests how much pressure a puck can handle by putting it in an electronic, vice-like object. The answer? 80,000 pounds. Don't try this at home, kids.
