(via Nike) (via Nike)

Cristiano Ronaldo will wear a limited edition white boot with gold-plated cleats for Real Madrid's April 16 match against Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final.

Nike announced that the limited edition shoe has been crafted to commemorate Ronaldo's unparalleled play over the last year:

The Mercurial Vapor IX CR7 Special Edition commemorates Cristiano Ronaldo's remarkable season, in which he averaged more than one goal a game; became the quickest player in his club’s history to reach 200 goals for the club; and was officially recognized as the best player in the world.

If you would like to join Ronaldo in celebrating himself, Nike has announced that 100 pairs of the shoe will be made available to the public beginning today.
