CBS announced today that Comedy Central's Stephen Colbert will take over as host of The Late Show when David Letterman retires in 2015. With Colbert in the news, I dug into the SI Vault for outtakes from his 2009 SI cover shoot. The issue was devoted to sports media, with Colbert the primary sponsor of the U.S. Speedskating team at the time.

Kari Wuhrer appeared at NBCUniversal's summer Press Day on Tuesday to promote theSharknado sequel. Wuhrer, as anyone over the age of 35 will remember, was the co-host of MTV's Remote Control in the late '80s and pretty much the hottest woman in the world (or a close second to Christina Applegate). As we await the new Sharknado, let's look back at Wuhrer's greatness.

The Floppies

The Point Forward, SI's NBA Blog, has handed out its second annual Floppie Awards for the 10 most ridiculous dives of the 2013-14 season. Congrats to Suns forward P.J. Tucker for being named Individual Flopper of the Year and to the Timberwolves for Team Flopper of the Year honors. Celtics guard Rajon Rondo may have had the season's most egregious flop last night, but he just missed the cutoff date to be included in this year's Top 10.

0.0

The Astros received the dreaded 0.0 rating for Monday's afternoon game against the Angels. On the bright side, the pregame show received an 0.2 rating.

Arnie's Got Game

Arnold Palmer cheated on girlfriend Kate Upton and posed with Audrina Patridge, Katie Sundseth, Meghan Hardin and Jennifer Bosworth while at Augusta yesterday. Yes, I know what you're thinking, so here are more photos of Hardin.

Odds and Ends

Just about every pro wrestling fan is angry with Nancy Grace right now ... The biggest fails in golf history ... Red Sox slugger David Ortiz set a record yesterday for slowest home run trot in MLB history ... Pablo Sandoval got nailed by a Brandon Beltfoul ball while in the on-deck circle ... Every NBA team's season summed up in one photo ... Golfer Keegan Bradley is wearing Air Jordans at Augusta this week ... Not good news for Indian men ... The coolest celebrity photos of all time ... The perfect female body (according to men) ...  A Texas woman called the police to complain about the quality of pot she received from a dealer. She was promptly arrested.

The Brewers are Happy

Hank the Dog, Bernie Brewer and the Racing Sausages take part in this epic video.

Cheerleader Video of the Day

I suddenly find myself rooting for the Dolphins.

Bryce Harper is Tricky

The Nationals outfielder pretended he was a reporter and asked fans at the MLB Fan Cave for their thoughts on Bryce Harper.

Save the Date: The Movie

Is this the most obnoxious "Save the Date" video ever created?
