Young Girl Breaks Down After Meeting Carlos Gomez

Brian McCann hates Carlos Gomez. So does Gerrit Cole.

But one young Brewers fan likes Gomez so much that she broke down crying upon meeting him before Sunday's game. The video comes via of MLB.com.

Gomez appeared to be touched by the girl, who he gave two hugs.

She was wearing a Brewers jersey and had her Carlos Gomez Gold Glove Bobblehead, which was given out before Sunday's game, in her hands when the center fielder came by to chat.

The 28-year-old Gomez, who is in his fifth season with Milwaukee, earned his first All-Star selection last season after hitting a career-best .284 with 24 homers and 73 RBIs.

He's hitting .297 in 25 games this year for the first-place Crew (18-7).
