Robinson Cano is returning to New York for the first time since signing a $240 million, 10-year contract with the Seattle Mariners last season, and Yankees fans are looking forward to letting him know how they feel about him.

Jimmy Fallon decided to help the people of New York give Cano an earful by taking a poster of the former Yankee out to the street and encouraging people to boo at it, only to have the second baseman step out from behind it and greet his detractors head on. The fans seem to handle the situation pretty well once the shock wears off, although one New Yorker seems to rendered unable to speak as he trips over himself to apologize.
