Playing off of a trend pioneered by the Jimmy Kimmel Show, this video from Notre Dame athletics—originally shown at the school's student-athlete banquet—prompts athletic director Jack Swarbrick and six coaches from various sports to read tweets straight from the accounts of their athletes. As you might expect, the generation gap produces some entertaining results.

The tweets range from the puzzling to the gross, and it's sometimes tough to tell who should be more embarrassed, the athletes or the coaches. Maybe putting some of the school's stars on blast will serve as a friendly lesson: in the world of social media, no one is safe.  Perhaps Men's soccer coach Bobby Clark jokingly puts it best, echoing what his colleagues seem to be wondering: "How did I get these guys in here?"
