Peyton Manning Talked Omaha on Lettermen Last Night
Peyton Manning was on David Lettermen last night, where he talked about the “Omaha” pre-snap shout that was the subject of much discussion during the NFL Playoffs:
Yeah Omaha is kinda out there. These TV mics just pick up everything. I don’t like it. I’m not a fan of it. Cause it reveals the terminology that our opponents who we’re playing next week can use. I don’t like that Bill Belichick hearing our plays that we’re using.
He then threw in a few jokes at commissioner Roger Goodell and Belichick.
Manning’s smoothness on camera is a big change from his first appearance on the Late Show way back in 1997, when then 21-year-old Manning was noticeably more stiff.
