Wednesday's A.M. Hot Clicks

Mr. Diplomacy

Tommy Lasorda :: AP Tommy Lasorda :: AP

It seems like everyone - from President Obama to Bette Midler - has weighed in on the Donald Sterling controversy. Tommy Lasorda finally gave his two cents worth. "I've been a friend of that guy's for 30 years," Lasorda said of Sterling during an interview with WPBF in Florida. "It doesn't surprise me that he said those things. And he shouldn't have said it. He just hurt himself by talking too much and doing things he shouldn't be doing." Lasorda went onto say, "And I don't wish that girl any bad luck but I hope she gets hit with a car,"

This is Rather Bizarre

When we last did an item on Steve Francis, he was wearing a Steve Francis jersey at a Wizards-Bulls game. The Maryland legend is in the news again after this bizarre video surfaced of him pouring champagne all over himself at a Miami nightclub.

A Brief History of the Nae Nae

Though it's only been around six months, the dance is quickly taking over the sports world.

Lovely Lady Of The Day

I receive an email every morning from my friends at Popoholic with links to the girls they are featuring on their site that day. I had never heard of Madison Murray until today's email, but I knew she'd be really good looking. Why? I have a theory that girls with the same first and last initial are generally really hot. Maria Menounos? Check. Anastasia Ashley? Check. Anyhow, just a dumb theory I have. Back to the Clicks.

Hot Clicks NFL Draft Preview

The WAGs of this year's draft class (if you want serious draft coverage, check out SI's NFL Draft Page).

At Least You're Not Still Bitter

Seattle TV station KIRO 7 refuses to say the words “Oklahoma City Thunder” in its newscasts, instead referring to the team as the "Former SuperSonics." It probably wasn't thrilled with my photo gallery of Kevin Durant's one year in Seattle that led yesterday's P.M. Clicks.

From the SI Vault
Mark Jackson :: AP Mark Jackson :: AP

The Warriors fired Mark Jackson yesterday after three seasons as head coach. The Knicks have a coaching vacancy? Could Jackson, a Queens native, return to New York to coach the Knicks? Time will tell.

Odds and Ends

The NBA forced Lady Gaga to postpone her Washington, D.C., concert and the Little Monsters are not happy about it ... The Warriors made a minor snafu in their email to season ticket holders ... There were two Ichiro dopplegangers in the stands of last night's Yankees-Angels game ... A Samurai Warrior threw out the first pitch at yesterday's Tigers-Astros game ... Lakers guard Kendall Marshall gets no respect ... The Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders traveled to Cancun for a photo shoot ... The average home gets about 189 channels, but only 17 of them are watched on a regular basis ... Love this chart of which rappers I could beat up in a fight.

Kevin Durant's Amazing MVP Speech

This is worth 11 minutes and 20 seconds of your time.

Larry and Magic

I thought it'd be funny to compare Durant's awesome MVP speech with that of Larry Bird, but I couldn't find Bird's speech on YouTube. What I did find, however, is this great piece on Magic Johnson first telling Bird he had  contracted HIV. This is worth two minutes of your time.

Grandma Got Game

This Italian grandmother, who goes by  the name “la nonnina” (the little grandma), shows off her skills on the streets of Rome.

LeBron Mic'd Up

This is what the Heat forward had to say during last night's victory over the Nets.

Family Feud Hall of Shame

This contestant should be disowned by her family.
