Jay Z and Beyoncé decided to attend last night's Heat-Nets game despite the shocking video of Jay allegedly getting attacked by Beyonce's sister, Solange Knowles, at a Met Gala afterparty, which had blown up the Internet earlier in the day.

From outside appearances everything appeared to be okay with the Carter-Knowles family, and Hova's good pal LeBron James even made time to swing by the couple's courtside seats a few times to chit-chat while dropping 49 points to lead the Heat to victory and a 3-1 series lead.

The high-profile couple has always kept info on their private lives close to the vest, so it is unlikely the real cause of the elevator clash will ever be made public, but here is some wild, sports-based speculation to keep the rumor mill churning:

Solange was angry because her beloved hometown Houston Rockets had been heartbreakingly eliminated by the Trailblazers just a few days before. She was still sulking at the after-party when Jay Z, never one to be humble about his good fortunes, started talking about how great it was that both the Brooklyn Nets, and his good friends the Miami Heat, were still alive in the playoffs. This proved to be too much for the younger Knowles an as soon as the elevator doors closed she let Jay have it.

Case Closed.
