UGH. Julius Erving looks so cool in this photo from 1976 that I can't even deal with it.

This photo from the SI Vault was taken on May 9th, 1976, during the finals of the last ABA championship before the ABA-NBA merger. Although the New York Nets ultimately defeated my Denver Nuggets in the series, I can't even be made because Erving looked so cool doing it.

The all-white look was a huge success for Dr. J. Dwyane Wade, on the other hand, didn't pull it off so well:
