Dog Eats Soccer Fan's Tickets To Championship Playoff

A Queens Park Rangers fan got an unwelcome surprise when he returned home to discover that his tickets to the team's must-win playoff against Derby County had been chewed to bits with the rest of his mail by his dog.

The fan seemed to take the incident in stride, and he indicated that the team had done the right thing and replaced the tickets, thanks to the intervention of QPR striker Charlie Austin, who tweeted to the club that they should help the fan out.

The winner of this weekend's game at Wembley will be promoted to the Premier League, from which the Rangers where relegated last year. The dog in question has likely been relegated to the backyard until after the new tickets arrive.
