Louis CK Buys Babe Ruth's House

Celebrities Attend The New York Jets Vs. New England Patriots Game

Louis CK has come a long way from the episode of Louie where he couldn't afford to buy Lenny Bruce's old house. The comedian and FX star just purchased a $2.49 million home in the Hamptons which used to belong to another New Yorker -- Mr. Babe Ruth.

The house -- called Primrose Cottage -- was built in 1901 and is 4,957 square feet, according to the New York Post. There are 6 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, enough room for a tennis court and swimming pool, and... wait, we're calling this a cottage?

C.K. was seen visiting the house this week and plans to renovate this summer.
