Minor league baseball team celebrates Independence Day by lighting stadium on fire

On Saturday, the Lancaster Jethawks celebrated Independence Day by lighting their stadium wall on fire. Because nothing says freedom more than torching the logos of your corporate sponsors in front of an audience.

Anyway, let's take a look at the damage.

Thankfully, there were no reported injuries, just a bunch of snickering on Twitter and Instagram about the Jethawks' inability to set off fireworks without completely screwing things up. As Deadspin points out, this isn't the first incident for the team. In 2011, a dozen spectators were injured after their fireworks' display malfunctioned.

The Jethawks should really take the time to watch Dan Doofus before handling dangerous materials.
