Tuesday's P.M. Hot Clicks: Will Smith and sports
Will Smith and Sports
Will Smith has signed on to star in Brain Game, the story of former Steelers center Mike Webster. Since the days when he was, "Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool," Smith has been a fixture in the sports landscape, as this gallery demonstrates.
Hidden Images In Sports Logos
A writer on Kottke.org found the lowercase "m" and "b" in the Brewers' old ball & glove logo, which got me thinking of which other teams have hidden images in their logo. Someone at For The Win had the exact same thought and came up with 16 other examples. This is very well done.
ESPN Body Issue Fail
ESPN The Magazine's annual Body Issue hits newsstands tomorrow and the images are quite striking. I was so taken with Prince Fielder's cover that I felt compelled to tweet about it. I'll leave the ESPN criticism to my co-workers but the exclusion of Arkansas coach Brett Bielema and South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier is unacceptable. Period.
Lovely Lady Round-Up
Jessica Perez has a new photo shoot out for Galore, which is quickly becoming my favorite magazine ... Emily DiDonato appears in the latest issue of the French edition of Elle ... The sexiest German fans at the World Cup ... WAGs of the 2014 MLB All-Star game.
Sunglasses > Country
My headline may be a little presumptuous, but Russell Westbrook launched his new line of eyewear (Westbrook Frames) the day after he announced that he was skipping this year's basketball World Cup in Spain. Just saying.

Odds and Ends
Here is one compelling reason for LeBron James to return to the Cavs ... The Red Wings rookies went on a group outing to the curling rink ... Watt-John Cena comparison ... Brian Cranston, Teri Hatcher and others recall their memorable Seinfeld roles ... It looks like Clerks 3 is a no-go as The Weinstein Company passed on the sequel ... Courtney Love will appear in the final season of Sons of Anarchy ... Awesome food item of the day: the Patriot Burger, which consists of a ground buffalo patty stacked between three custom buns—one made of apple pie on top, one made of beer dough in the middle and one made of pizza on the bottom.
Beast Mode: Lingerie Football Edition
Markie “Lil Train” Henderson of the Las Vegas Sin takes out everyone in her path during this touchdown run. Also, the league has rebranded itself as the Legends Football League, but the inclusion of the word "lingerie" makes you more likely to read it. (Strong language warning)
Will Smith Video of the Day
Not sure how I missed this a couple of months ago, but Will Smith returned to The Graham Norton Show after his first appearance went viral. He sang a remix of the theme song from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and welcomed series costar Alfonso Ribeiro to the stage for the Carlton Dance and a Jump On It finale. Just fantastic stuff.
Seth McFarlane Video of the Day
I got lost in the YouTube vortex and spent 30 minutes watching Graham Norton clips. I really like this one of Seth MacFarlane performing all his Family Guy voices and doing a Liam Neeson/Taken impression in Kermit the Frog's voice.
Neil Young Video of the Day
YouTube added 12,000 live concert videos today in a new partnership with Music Vault. I didn't have time to search through them all (thanks to the Graham Norton/YouTube vortex), but here is one of my favorite Neil Young tunes, "Comes a Time," from November 1989.
