Here's some Arsenal players practicing their New York accents

In preparation for Saturday's friendly against the New York Red Bulls, Arsenal are practicing all their most important skills, such as sounding like New Yorkers.

Clearly they've still got some work to do. Mathieu Flamini can't seem to grasp the concept of replacing the "R" sound at the end of words with an "ah" sound.

If they want some tips, they can just ask Yonkers native Ryan Meara, the Red Bulls backup goalie. He's got a pretty thick New Yawk accent.

But Arsenal aren't even going to be playing in New York. The Red Bulls play across the river in Harrison, New Jersey. Maybe someone can give them The Sopranos on DVD to watch on the plane and practice how to sound like they're from Jersey.
