There are just 35 days until the start of the NFL season, which still seems like a long way off. In the meantime, here is a great gallery of Snapshots from NFL Training Camps, including a Tom Brady-Ryan Mallett foot race, shy Aaron Rodgers and J.J. Watt showing off his selfie skills.
Fred Flintstone > Ray Rice
In perhaps the greatest Letter to the Editor in publishing history, aWashington Post reader leapt to the defense of Fred Flintstone after a columnist described Ray Rice's domestic violence incident as "going all Flintstone on his wife."
1 in a 67 Million Shot
Janne Pottinger, a 17-handicap golfer from New Zealand, hit the first hole-in-one of her life on Wednesday. And then did it again seven holes later. The chances of scoring two aces in one round, according to statisticians, is one in 67 million.
Throwback Lovely Lady of the Day
Stephanie Seymour decided to write a song about her plastic surgeon, Dr. Brandt, and it is awesome. I am not sure what inspired a 46-year-old supermodel to pen a song about her plastic surgeon, but I'm glad she did. This (obviously) earns her today's Throwback LLOD honors.
Hot Clicks Giveaway
SI's 2014 Fantasy Football preview is here and I may or may not have raided the mailboxes of my SI.com co-workers to grab five of them. I will send them to the 10th, 20th, 30th, 40th and 50th person who emails me the name of the retired NFL player featured in the Vault photo of this morning's Hot Clicks. Please make the subject line "Fantasy Football."
Update (6:19 a.m.): Contest is over. Winners will be notified. There will be another giveaway on Monday.
Bad Timing Award
The A's acquired Jon Lester and traded away Yoenis Cespedes, which does not bode well for the 10,000 Yoenis Cespedes “La Potencia” T-shirts slated to be given away at Sunday's A's-Royals game. On the bright side, we can now add a t-shirt to this list of seven Bobblehead Days that happened after a player was traded.
The Miami Football Travel Shoe
Odds & Ends
The MLB Network got duped by a fake Ken Rosenthal twitter account. It was much worse for Jim Bowden ... Shaquille O'Neal and Trey Burke are being sued for mocking an Instagram photo ... Here's some found footage of the 1986 Rams performing Let's Ram. It is must-see ... The NFL's 25 biggest contracts ... Netflix is adding all five Rocky films in August ... Twenty-two horrifying video game glitches ... MTV may have to pay millions after successfully being sued for showing a dead body on TV ... Nineteen small kids with huge dogs ... Great graphic tracing the evolution of the computer.
Throwback Thursday: Eric Dickerson on Running
After watching that amazing 'Let's Ram It' video, I was inspired to find some old Eric Dickerson footage. This is gold.

More Throwback Thursday: Larry Bird on Shooting
Red Auerbach, Larry Bird and Dennis Johnson on the art of shooting.
Cold Water Test
Cowboys tight ends coach Mike Pope tests his players's concentration.
Is Ballet a Sport?
Good Under Armour ad featuring Misty Copeland, who is in my LLOD queue (FYI).
