Redskins rookie Zach Hocker immediately regrets allowing teammates to cut his hair
Redskins rookie kicker Zach Hocker already has one big regret from his time in the NFL — and it has nothing to do with football.
On Wednesday night, he made the decision — one he would later regret — of letting his teammates cut his hair. He was supposed to do what other rookies did as part of something of an initiation process — perform a skit. But he came up blank, so he told his 89 teammates they could cut his hair however they wanted.
"I'll cut my hair however you want to cut it," Hocker said, according to ESPN.com's John Keim.
To his credit, Hocker took it mostly in stride.
"I kind of regret it now," said Hocker, according to ESPN's Keim, who noted Hocker signed autographs while wearing a hat most of the session. "In the moment it was fun, but now I wish I had thought of something funny for the team ... I didn't anticipate this. I got up on the stage and they put up three pictures for the team to vote on. This was my look. They let me have it and there I went."
