When the NCAA adjusted their rules earlier this year to allow for unlimited food to be provided for athletes, it was only a matter of time before a culinary arms race between college athletic departments began, and it looks like Oklahoma has fired the first shot.

Oklahoma AD Joe Castiglione tells ESPN's Darren Rovell the move is about creating flexibility so the school can bring food to where the player are training.

Hopefully the school doesn't miss out on a perfect opportunity for synergy and just starts offering the food directly off the Sooner Schooner.
