Nike is releasing college branded sneakers to celebrate the beginning of football season

Nike is releasing special college editions of its Lunar TR1 trainer to celebrate the beginning of college football season. The schools with shoes include: Ohio State, Florida State, Georgia, Texas, Michigan State, Oregon, Oklahoma, and Alabama.

College football season is fast approaching, and as fans start itching to gear up, Nike is releasing a line of Lunar TR1 trainers that are fit for the sideline of your favorite school.

Generally, the sportswear giant saves branded kicks for the players and staffs at school's athletic programs with a few slipping to the general public. This time they are releasing colorways for eight of their highest profile football schools: Ohio State, Florida State, Georgia, Texas, Michigan State, Oregon, Oklahoma, and Alabama.

The shoes are retailing for $120 and will be hitting Nike.com and retailers August 27th.
