Also on Extra Mustard: Grounds crew struggles with tarp at Cubs game

NBC and MLB Network broadcaster Bob Costas stopped by the St. Louis Cardinals game against the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday night to throw out the first pitch, and when it did not go so well, he demanded a second try.

Costas had the added pressure of the pitch being broadcast live on the MLB network, so he gets a little leeway, but that first pitch was hardly as embarrassing as the majority of celebrity opening throws.

In fact, there is a fair case to be made that it was actually AJ Pierzynski's fault the ball makes it to the back stop.
