It's TGIATDW (Thank God It's A Three Day Weekend), and SI's Extra Mustard is giving you the low-down on what to watch, eat, do and buy to ensure you have an awesome Labor Day Vay-cay (also, we promise never to say "vay-cay" again).

Things To Watch

  •
    STARRED UP
    Premiers nationwide on Friday
Starred Up, starring Jack O'Connell from the British television series Skins, made its American debut last year at the Telluride Film Festival. See this gritty movie on Friday so you have a few days to recover.

  •
    GHOSTBUSTERS 30th ANNIVERSARY
    Friday
Nerds everywhere, strap on your vacuum packs because everyone's favorite ghost-wrangling trio is coming back to the big screen. For those who are unfamiliar with this '80s cult classic, do yourself a huge favor and head out to your nearest theater to watch it.

  •
    YANKEES versus RED SOX
    Friday, Sept, 2 at 7 P.M. ET
Weekends, we just can't quit you. If you want to extend your three-day weekend, tune in to watch the Yankees play the Red Sox on Tuesday, and keep pretending the weekend isn't over.

  •
    AS ABOVE SO BELOW
    Friday
For thriller movie enthusiasts, As Above, So Below is also being released nationally this weekend. Starring Perdita Weeks and Ben Feldman, As Above follows explorers as they navigate the catacombs beneath Paris. Looks like the City of Lights has a dark side.

THINGS TO EAT

  •
    PULLED PORK PARFAIT
Milwaukee Brewers, Miller Park| Milwaukee, WI
You can't truly enjoy Labor Day without a good BBQ. Instead of firing up your own grill, snag the Brewers classic that is composed of pulled pork and mashed potatoes, and then probably you should buy a gym membership.

  •
    Key West Brewfest
    Aug. 28, 2014 - Sept. 1 , 2014 |Key West, FL
If you thought you majored in beer in college, then you clearly haven't heard of BrewFest. Featuring a Beer School, a Brew Master Competition, and several tailgates, Key West BrewFest is the perfect place to quench your thirst.

  •
    All-Star BBQ Dog
Kansas City Royals, Kaufmann Stadium| Kansas City
This hotdog has everything but the kitchen sink loaded onto it. This KC delicacy comes is tipped with pulled pork, cole slaw, pickles, and barbeque sauce. Good thing there is no white after Labor Day because this hot dog is almost too much to handle.

THINGS TO DO

  •
    Electric Zoo Festival
Friday -Sunday | Randall's Island, NY
Okay, so there won't be any animals since this is a music festival, but you will still have a wild time. This EDM concert features Kaskade and David Guetta and will make you feel super old for not knowing who any of the other performers are.

  •
    Budweiser Made In America
Saturday | Los Angeles and Philadelphia
You don't have to choose which coast to spend your Labor Day weekend on because this music festival happens on both. You'll only have to choose which headlining artists you want to hear. Kanye and Steve Aoki are the beasts of the east and Imagine Dragons and Afrojack are representing the best of the west.

  •
    U.S. OPEN
    Aug. 25, 2014 to Sept. 8, 2014| Flushing, N.Y.
Want to see some amazing backhands that aren't happening at your family's Labor Day picnic badminton tournament? Then head over to Arthur Ashe Stadium to watch the 46th can cheer Serena to her third consecutive title.

Things To Buy

  •
    Madden NFL 15
    Pre-Release Aug. 26
What better way to prepare for the start of another NFL season than with virtual football madness? This edition features a new tackling system and skills trainer. You can be a pro-football player from the comfort of your couch.

  •
    Reebok The Blast

Retailing at $120, these shoes are a throwback to the 90s, one of the best decades. These shoes will ensure that weekend baller-status is achieved. Also is it still cool to say "baller-status"?

  •
    Nike LeBron 11 Low China
    Saturday
If you want to have the coolest kicks at any of the Labor Day picnics you attend, these are the shoes for you. Who wouldn't want shoes inspired by oriental vases?
