Ravens coach John Harbaugh tries to chest bump Haloti Ngata, fails
Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh tried to celebrate with defensive lineman Haloti Ngata during the team's win over AFC North rival Pittsburgh Steelers, and it did not go well for the coach.
It turns out regular-sized people are not built to launch themselves into 6-4, 340-pound football players, leading to Harbaugh stumbling and just barely sticking his landing, a point which he later emphasized to reporters, according to USA Today.
“I did not fall down,” Harbaugh said. “I kept my balance. I flew, but I kept my balance. A lesser athlete would have been on the ground.”
Harbaugh learned an important lesson on Thursday night that offensive linemen have known for years: Haloti Ngata is gigantic.
