Phil Simms Fan Club. Population Zero.

Phil Simms :: Getty Images

This photo of a fan taking a selfie with Phil Simms was clearly not taken in Denver. Why, you ask? Denver hates Simms so much that Broncos fans have started a petition on Change.org called "Ban Phil Simms From Broadcasting Bronco Games" and it had over 27,500 as of Tuesday morning.

Derek Jeter Swings

The New York Times has a must-see infographic of every swing Derek Jeter has swung a bat in his professional career, both in practice and games. Spoiler alert: They estimate the number at 342,000.

The Old 'Fake Heart Attack' Play

Arkansas State wide receiver Booker Mays may have taken things a little too far while trying to distract Miami players during a fake punt on Saturday. Mays clutched his chest and fell backward, as if having a heart attack. Nobody fell for the ploy and the fake didn't work but Mays could have a future in Hollywood (or professional wrestling).

Lovely Lady of the Day

Jessica Burciaga attended a red carpet event at Las Vegas' Crazy Horse III Gentlemen's Club over the weekend, which probably explains her choice of dress. Anyhow, Jessica earns today's LLOD honors (click here for full-size gallery).

Two Beards and a Mascot

The Serbian team partied like rock stars after its silver medal performance at the FIBA World Cup, and Miroslav Raduljica had some facial hair trash talk for James Harden. The former Bucks center stated, “We lost the game, it’s true, but my beard is still better than James Harden's.” Harden has yet to respond (though I'm sure Kyrie Irving has some not-so-nice things to say about Raduljica). Meanwhile in New York, mascot Mr. Met grew out his hair so he could look more like pitcher Jacob deGrom.

The Buckeye and the Porn Star

Ohio State tight end Jeff Heuerman is suffering from a foot injury and didn't suit up against Kent State last weekend, but that doesn't mean he didn't score. Heuerman celebrated the team's victory at a Gentleman's Club in Columbus, where he "bonded" with porn star Lisa Ann.

From the SI Vault

Tim Raines :: SI

Tim Raines turned 55 today. In this photo, Raines leaves a trail on his way to second base. I almost used this 1989 photo of Raines and Andre Dawson, but it makes Raines look tiny and that's not in the birthday spirit. Anyhow, I may post a few more Raines photos today, mostly because Expos fans go nuts for photos of their former team, so check out the SI Vault.

Hunter Pence Makes Rap Video

Remember all those funny Hunter Pence signs from earlier this summer? He made a rap video out of them.

Rory McIlroy Can Putt

The world's No. 1 golfer makes 55 straight putts from 10-feet away.

New Zealand Wheelchair Rugby Team Does Haka Dance

This is awesome.

Happy Birthday Flo Rida

It's Flo Rida's birthday. Here's a video I shot of the rapper in Miami during SI Swimsuit Launch Week in February. Keep in mind that we were in a small club and I was two feet from the stage. As you can tell, I wasn't sure whether to focus on Flo Rida or the girls on stage.
