Ex-NFL safety Adrian Wilson wants to be a high school coordinator

Adrian Wilson hasn't played in the NFL since 2012. After being released by the Bears in training camp this year, it's for him to start thinking about his post-playing career.

The natural next step for ex-players is to go into coaching. Wilson realizes this, has an interesting strategy to get hired: ask his Twitter followers to send him applications.

The replies to the tweet are just a bunch of people listing different high schools around the country, but there is one promising lead.

Former NFL quarterback Jeff Rutledge, who spent two years as the Cardinals' quarterbacks coach, is the head coach at Valley Christian High School in Chandler, Arizona. Rutledge and Wilson were both with the Cardinals at the same time. Give him a call, Adrian.
