Big 12 gives message to Bill Snyder: Change your wardrobe

The Big 12 is asking Bill Snyder to do something rather unorthodox in the world of sport: change his wardrobe.

The Big 12 is asking Bill Snyder to do something rather unorthodox in the world of sport: change his wardrobe.

The Kansas State coach, who turns 75 next month, has been asked by the conference to retire some of his old windbreakers he typically wears during games.

Tennessee fumbles, fan takes it out on hedges

The reasoning is those windbreakers are adorned with logos of bowl games with which the Big 12 no longer has contracts -- the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl, for example, is now called the Cactus Bowl.

So, respectfully, the Big 12 asked him to reconsider his style.

On Saturday, Snyder showed respect to the request. He wore a white windbreaker without the logos. The result? A 58-28 drubbing over UTEP. A win-win for everyone, except maybe UTEP.
