Stone Cold Madison Bumgarner pitched a complete game shutout to lead the Giants past the Pirates 8-0 in the NL Wild Card game and then shotgunned four beers in the locker room to celebrate. The game was highlighted by this young Pirates fan imitating all the action from his seat behind home plate and a random old lady who somehow snuck into the Giants' dugout. Shortstop Brandon Crawford provided the offense for San Francisco with a fourth-inning grand slam, which put his sister in an awkward position as she's dating a pitcher on the Pirates.

Six Questions With Royals Fan Who Had Puppy Sign

Tuesday's Royals-A's game was one of the season's best but all anyone was talking about afterwards was the girl holding the puppy sign. We caught up with Katie Castan, the girl holding the sign, about the experience and what she plans to name her new puppy.

The NHL's Meanest Jumbotron

The Jumbotron operators for the Dallas Stars clearly have a good sense of humor and that was apparent Tuesday night when they used the 'Kermit Sipping Tea' meme to call out a random Maple Leafs fan at the game. SportsGrid has a look at all the instances the Stars Jumbotron has had fun with opposing fans.

Two New, Important Sports Feuds

The Dallas and Houston Police Departments went at it last night on Twitter with some friendly Cowboys-Texans trash talk. I seldom take sides in these but I think the Houston PD won with this amazing tweet. This feud is small beans compared to the war of words erupting between Warren Sapp and Jeff from Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Wilt the Stamp

NBA legend Wilt Chamberlain is the latest athlete to get his own U.S. postage stamp as two new Wilt stamps are set to hit the market. The first is based on a photograph of Chamberlain in a Philadelphia Warriors uniform; the other is based on an image of Chamberlain in a Los Angeles Lakers uniform. Sadly, neither will be based on this image of Wilt playing softball with some leggy blondes.

While we're on the subject, this is a photo of Wilt Chamberlain with his fourth grade class. Can you spot him?

The SI Photo Blog Returns

I started the SI Photo Blog on Tumblr a few years ago as a place (besides Twitter) to put all the great old sports photos I come across from the SI archives. The blog fell off a bit after I took over Hot Clicks late last year but I'm happy to announce that it's back (with a new design!) and ready for action. So please bookmark/follow for more classic sports photos. And while I'm shamelessly plugging things, follow me on Twitter for important food updates, random swimsuit pics and photos of my dog Larry.

Odds & Ends

Giants tight end Larry Donnel lost his fantasy football game because he benched himself ... It's statements like this that make me really dislike Carmelo Anthony ... A Cleveland Browns' employee was caught stealing over $3,000 of Browns' merchandise ... Miguel Cabrera turned down his playoff bonus and is focused on getting a ring ... Red Sox outfielder Yoenis Cespedes, who defected from Cuba, hasn't seen his son in three years ... Comedian Bill Burr, who I was raving about yesterday, has a new sitcom (from the makers of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) ... Nine Secret Service screw-ups and scandals ... Eighteen dogs that look like something else.
