Washington Nationals are the hairiest team in baseball

The Washington Post has completed a "study" of every team in baseball and found that the Washington Nationals are the hairiest of them all, which could bode well for their chances at a World Series title this fall.

The Washington Post  recently did a "study" of every team in baseball and found that the Washington Nationals are the hairiest of them all, which could bode well for their chances at a World Series title this fall.

After looking at more than 1,000 photos of players on current MLB rosters, The Post put together an impressive ranking of teams from most to least hirsute, with the Nationals at the top and the facial-hair-adverse Yankees at the bottom as always.

The article also points to another recent study of facial hair in America's pastime, which found that the team with more facial hair has won each of the last four World Series, so teams should focus less on pitching and more on pogonotrophy.
