Serena Williams mistaken for a college student by Americans in Paris
Serena Williams was mistaken for a college student by two fellow Americans in France on Thursday.
The tennis superstar was getting a manicure in a Paris salon and helped to translate for the two tourists, who somehow failed to recognize the 18-time Grand Slam winner, but did pay her an excellent compliment.
I'm getting my nails done in Paris and Some Americans walk in. They don't recognize me but I help them translate their conversation.....— Serena Williams (@serenawilliams) October 9, 2014
When the Americans return home they can tell everyone about the friendly bilingual college student with the laser forehand they met while getting their nails done.
