Kansas basketball coach Bill Self donned some serious Andrew Wiggins-esque swag last night at Kansas' Late Night in the Phog, wearing an ensemble closely resembling the star player's famous draft night outfit.
'Late Night,' the school's iteration of the popular 'Midnight Madness' event where college basketball teams open their first practice of the year to the public, is an fun, fan-friendly event to drum up enthusiasm for the upcoming season. On Friday, a sharply-dressed Self roused the Jayhawk faithful by going full-'Three Amigos.'
Coach Self even featured in an intro video addressing the importance of looking good, noting perhaps quite honestly that the 2013-14 season didn't end the way the Jayhawks wanted it to, but that the program got a "boost" when Wiggins was selected as the first overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Kansas starts its season at home on Nov. 14 against UC Santa Barbara.
