Redskins linebacker Brian Orakpo was headed into surgery for a torn pectoral muscle that will keep him off the field for the remainder of the season, but he sent out a tweet to let fans and teammates know he had his priorities straight before going under the knife.

Orakpo had 24 tackles and .5 sacks in seven games this season with the Redskins before tearing his right pectoral in the team's 19-17 victory over the Tennessee Titans.

The NFC East-leading Dallas Cowboys will host the 2-5 Redskins at AT&T Stadium on the Week 8 edition of Monday Night Football.
