Les Miles responds to Katy Perry's corndog joke about LSU
Katy Perry's appearance as guest picker on ESPN's College Gamedayhas earned instant legend status with her wooing of Oklahoma's quarterback and her correct pick of Ole Miss upsetting Alabama on the show's first trip to The Grove. Now another memorable moment from her appearance has been given new life.
Perry referred to LSU as "L-S-Peeeew" on the show while holding up a corn dog, referring to a popular internet meme that Tiger stadium smells like the delicious State Fair staple. With Les Miles and the Tigers heading to Ole Miss on Saturday, a reporter decided to ask the coach what he thought about the pop star's assertion.

According to Yahoo Sports, once Miles had the entire situation explained to him he was firm in his defense of the team's home turf.
"I guess if that’s the issue — I want you to know one thing and I’ll say it very honestly. I have gone to Tiger Stadium and never smelled corn dogs."
Miles may not be the best judge of Tiger Stadium's smells though, as he is probably distracted by that vast expanse of delicious grass.
