Chandler Parsons picking up road dinner tabs for Dirk Nowitzki

At the end of the last NBA season, Dirk Nowitzki told the Mavericks he would be willing to take a decrease in pay if it meant bringing in some top-end talent to help the team make a championship run, and the team used that extra financial space to bring in Chandler Parsons from the Houston Rockets.

With the season about to begin, Nowitzki has revealed to reporters his plan for making up the lost pay throughout the season, one forkful at a time.

It is tough for Parsons to argue with Dirk's logic on that one, although it is going to be pretty upsetting come January when the former MVP insists on getting truffles and caviar yet again.
