Jerry Jones will do whatever it takes to keep Tony Romo comfortable

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said the team is taking every precaution possible with injured quarterback Tony Romo as they travel to London for Week 10, with Jones joking that he is even willing bump his wife from first class to make sure Romo is comfortable.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said the team is taking every precaution possible with injured quarterback Tony Romo as they travel to London for Week 10, with Jones joking that he is even willing bump his wife from first class to make sure Romo is comfortable.

According to The Dallas Morning NewsJones told reporters his wife may be making the move to coach to help Romo's recovery.

"Some of those seats really make out into a nice cot, bed-type configuration,’’ Jones said. “He will get one of those. Gene will sit up in the bulkhead. Romo will lounge on the way over.

“You don’t think it’d be me, do you?’’

The Cowboys are set to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 10 at Wembley Stadium, and Jones said he is optimistic the Romo will be under center despite his back injury.
